OCOMP Limited is founded in 2001 to provide electronic design solution and web based solution. OCOMP and ocomP are registered trade marks of OCOMP Ltd. for our Semiconductor and Speech and Music Synthesizer IC products. We are located in Hong Kong with affiliated design service centers in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.

ocomP Speech Synthesizer and Talking Controller IC (integrated circuit) are designed for specific application to facilitate our customer in shorten their product development cycle time and to minimize their risk in design feasibility. Our SG7000 series are general purpose speech, music and voice-over-music synthesizer IC. 3 parts are now available on production which are SG7001, SG7002 and SG7003. These are suitable for talking book, dictionary, translator, clock, toy, weight scale, synthesized music box, and electronic learning aid product applications.

OCOMP also distributes Flash Memory, Memory Card (MMC, SD, Mini-SD, Compact Flash), USB Flash Drive from Samsung, Pleomax, Renesas, and Toshiba for compressed speech and music data storage. We also distribute Tak Cheong Semiconductor switching diodes (fast switching or high voltage diode) in DO-34, DO-35 and SMD Mini-Melf LL-34 glass sealed package, zener diodes or zener voltage regulators (500mW, 1 watt, 1.3 watt regulator) in DO-34, DO-35, DO-41 and LL-34 glass sealed package, and TO-220 power transistors.

Our affiliated design centers have strong design experiences in MCU micro-controller and DSP based speech and voice recognition application solutions, especially in Sensory SC691, SC601, SC604, SC605, SC614, RS4128 and RS464 series IC for Sensory CX, Sensory MX, Sensory SX, ADPCM, PCM and GSM speech synthesis compression technology.

We are also supporting MCU and DSP application training provided by third parties to individual engineer, small interest group or manufacturer's R&D engineers and application software design engineering team. Mr. Ernest Jih is one of the key organizers of these third party application training. Mr. Jih had worked at Texas Instruments (TI), IDT Semiconductor and Motorola / Freescale with extensive application design and technical support experience in Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Mr. Jih is enthusiasm to foster new engineering talent for the electronic society and the community by passing on his knowledge and over 15 years of hand on technical experience.
